Pancakes are requested in my house at least once a week. They are great filling breakfast- prepared in just minutes. Store bought pancake flours are filled with inflammatory oils, refined flours, trans-fat, corn syrup and God knows what. I would like to share this easy pancake mixture that contains only 4 ingredients. It makes about 4 batches of pancakes, tastes great, and cost friendly.
INGREDIENTS
4 Cups Flour of your choice
3 tbsp Baking powder
2 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix these 4 ingredients and store in an airtight container. It stays good for about 6 months.
For 1 cup of this dry pancake mix add 1 egg, 1 cup of milk, and 1 tsp butter or oil.
Mix wet and dry ingredients to make the batter for the pancakes.
Don't over mix the batter and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Enjoy yummy pancakes guilt free!
Be creative and experiment with different types of flours like whole wheat flour, almond flour, oats flour, buckwheat flour, etc. I love to mix 2-3 different types of flours. Top it off with chocolate, sprinkles, fresh fruits and pure maple syrup or honey.
