Cake Rusk

Cake rusks are very popular and they taste delicious. Sadly, the store bought ones are full of preservatives, artificial flavors and toxic food coloring. To avoid all these chemicals, I am sharing this simple and easy recipe without compromising the quality and taste.

INGREDIENTS


Whole wheat flour 1 cup

Sugar 1/2 cup

butter 1/2 cup

eggs 3

baking powder 1 tsp

Vanilla extract 1/4 tsp


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whisk butter and sugar in mixing bowl until fluffy. (I used less than 1/2 cup sugar)

  2. Add eggs one by one to this mixture .

  3. Then add whole wheat flour and baking powder and mix thoroughly.

  4. Transfer this mixture to baking pan and bake at 350 degree F for 30 mins or until the stick comes out clear.

  5. Cool down the cake for about 20 mins and then cut into desire shapes and lengths.

  6. Bake these cut pieces for 15-20 on one side .

  7. Flip the pieces and bake for another 15-20 mins.


They come out crunchy and delicious. Serve with Tea and Enjoy!
